In partnership with Africa New Life, Wayside will be hosting a student sponsorship day on June 15, 2025
Africa New Life believes that access to education is the key to helping individuals break out of poverty. For that reason, educational sponsorship is at the heart of their ministry. Only 2% of Rwandans living near or below the poverty line completed secondary school. Africa New Life is committed to helping students complete high school or a vocational equivalent while sharing the gospel with them.
Africa New Life offers the opportunity to sponsor a student for $43/month. This sponsorship covers essential needs such as school fees, school supplies, one school uniform per year, a weekly center day that includes meals and mentorship, camp, and basic medical assistance. The program focuses on providing the student with everything they need for a successful education, which in turn helps the family and community grow and become healthier.
