We offer two identical worship services that seek to bring us into a heartfelt time of worship as we praise the Lord corporately. Our pastors share expository sermons that take us into the Word of God on a deep and practical level.

Meet the Lead PASTOR
Jason is a San Antonio native, married to his high school sweetheart, Rachel, and together they have four children (Avery, Audrey, Kinsley, & Bennett). He and Rachel graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009, where he earned his B.A. in Communication. He later received his M.A. in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2019 and is pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. Before transitioning to Wayside Chapel, Jason taught and coached at the public school level while also pioneering and leading a college ministry at UTSA.
Over the years, he has served in various roles, including overseeing young adult ministry, missions & outreach, and as an associate pastor. Jason has a deep passion for preaching God’s Word and longs to see people worship Jesus in every area of life. His heart for discipleship and missions is driven by a desire to see believers live out their faith as an authentic overflow of worship in all they do.

Our Kids Ministry is passionate about helping children discover who Jesus is and grow in a faith that lasts a lifetime. We want every child to experience the love of Jesus in a way that inspires them to follow Him. Each week, kids are welcomed into a safe and joyful environment where trained teachers share God’s truth with creativity, care, and love.

Echo student ministry is truth and love reproduced in authentic community. Our desire is to see students echo Christ in everything they do.

Wayside Chapel seeks to guide every member into a smaller, deeper community within our greater community as a local church body. We have a wide range of Bible studies, classes, and groups for women, men, singles, and those over 55 available to help you connect in community.
