Following Jesus was never meant to be something we do alone! This week, Pastor Jason looks at Galatians 6:1-5 and the truth that we weren’t just made to attend church together. We were made to become like Jesus together.
Outline
- Restore One Another
We all have the capacity to wander, which is why we need people who know us well enough to help us find our way back. Restoration isn’t about judgment or condemnation. It means coming alongside one another with truth, gentleness, and the humility to remember that we all depend on the same grace. - Carry One Another
Some things in life are simply too heavy to carry alone. God gives us one another to help shoulder those burdens, to rejoice together, grieve together, and keep walking together. When we carry one another, we reflect the love of Jesus, who carried for us what we could never carry ourselves.
Passage
Galatians 6:1-5
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. 5 For each will have to bear his own load.
