If you are registered, you will check your kids in using one of our wall-mounted IPads. There you will receive your kids’ nametags and parent security tag. Parents must accompany their kids to their classrooms and sign them in on the classroom rosters. 4th and 5th graders can check themselves in without a parent as long as the parent has signed the Check In/Out Permission form.

Wayside’s Great Expectations Ministry (GEM) exists to encourage parents from pregnancy or plans to adopt through the time of baby dedication. The Great Expectations Ministry provides encouragement and prayer for moms and dads. This ministry also provides information about our kids programming, tours of our facilities, and assistance in planning your baby dedication.

Our hope is that you will entrust your kids to our care so you can fully engage in the worship service. We have four age-specific nurseries with trained staff, to provide safe and loving care to our youngest attenders. For parents desiring to take their kids to the church service, two family needs rooms are available in the rear of the Worship Center. One is designed for families and one is dedicated to nursing mothers. Please note that these rooms are not completely soundproof.

Child dedications are available for parents who wish to make a public commitment to raise their child to know God with the hope that the children might one day trust in Christ as their Savior. Wayside Chapel’s desire is to come alongside parents with prayer and encouragement as they raise their child to love the Lord.

MASTERPIECE MINISTRIES: Children with disabilities are welcomed and integrated into the Wayside Kids ministries. Parents are asked to provide pertinent information and health care concerns. If needed, a peer, student leader or adult volunteer will come alongside the child to ensure that the child can participate in the learning process and classroom activities. REGISTER HERE

ALLERGIES: A list of children with allergies is given to each classroom teacher to ensure that our children are safe. Allergies can also be added to a child’s nametag at parent request.

HEALTH NEEDS: Parents are also able to communicate health needs when registering their kids so that we can better assist them.
