FAQs
There is live teaching and live worship. Our teaching pastors share expository sermons that take us into the Word of God on a deep but practical level.
Our worship services (9:15 & 11 AM) are identical and include a blend of newer music, traditional hymns, and contemporary worship songs. Sign language interpretation is available at the 9:15 am service.
We have communion on the first Sunday of each month.
You will see everything from ties to casual clothes here at Wayside. We know that God is more concerned with a person’s heart than their clothes, so dress in a way that makes you comfortable.
Have you accepted Christ as your Savior? Are you ready to commit to growing in Christ and encouraging others here at Wayside? If so, we would love for you to become a member.
Though not required, we recommend that those interested in membership attend Discovering Wayside to learn more about Wayside’s history, beliefs, and ministries.
In order to become a member, a membership application and elder interview is required. This will give you the opportunity to share your personal testimony with us so that we can learn how to love and support you best. To learn more: StephenL@waysidechapel.org
To submit a prayer request, call 210.318.2232 and leave your request or you can fill out our online prayer request form here. This will be added to a church-wide prayer email for others to hear.
On Sunday mornings, prayer partners are also available by the stage to pray with you at the end of the services.
