Some of the best opportunities to build friendships happen when we simply spend time together. Our annual Church Picnic at Morgan’s Wonderland is a chance to slow down, have some fun, and enjoy an afternoon with family and friends. Pack a lunch or grab something at one of the new food spots in the park, then enjoy the afternoon however you’d like. Ride the train, go fishing, let the kids explore the playgrounds, or find a shady spot and spend some time catching up. Come for a few hours or stay all afternoon. There’s no set schedule—just plenty of time to enjoy being together.

As you make plans to come, consider inviting someone you’d enjoy spending the afternoon with—a neighbor you’ve been getting to know, friends your family loves being around, a co-worker, or someone you simply haven’t had enough time with lately. Sometimes sharing a meal, watching the kids play, or enjoying something fun together gives us the space to know one another a little better.

Admission and parking at Morgan’s Wonderland is free, so bring your family, invite a friend, and come enjoy the afternoon with us. The afternoon won’t be the same without you!
