School Supply Packing Day | August 17
Help pack new school supplies for children registered for the 2018-2019 school year. These items are a huge blessing and a tangible way we can show God’s love. Register by e-mailing Joyce at email@example.com by August 11.
Mandatory Mentor, Aide, Reading Buddy Training Meeting | September 8 | 8:30 – 11:30 am
New and experienced mentors, teacher/library aides, reading buddies need to attend this training which will include a light breakfast, fellowship, joint information session, and training. Register by e-mailing Joyce at firstname.lastname@example.org
Kids’ Club Training | September 18 | 2 – 4 pm

Become a child’s buddy, and visit them once a week during the time and day of your choice (school days and hours only). This is a weekly commitment for September through May.
Help a teacher with preparing materials, tutoring students, etc. once a week during the time and day of your choice (school days and hours only) for a minimum of two hours. This is a weekly commitment for September through May.
Kids’ Club Team Member
Kids’ Club is a time when students and volunteers come for music, games, snacks, scripture memorization, Bible lessons, and homework help. It occurs on Tuesdays after school in September through May and is held on the school campus or a nearby neighborhood. This is a weekly commitment of 2-4 hours each Tuesday for September through May.
Prayer Team Member
Prayer praises and requests are sent out 1-2 times per month, and there is a monthly prayer meeting held on the second Thursday of each month on the Wayside campus.
Encouragement Team Member
Come and meet fellow volunteers to pray for the teachers and assemble encouragement gifts for them. The team typically meets on the morning of the second Saturday of the month.
Special Projects Team Member
Special projects may include landscaping, grounds clean up, packing/delivering food boxes, and helping with the bike rodeo, book fair, field trips, etc. There is no minimum commitment; just help when you can!
Teacher Aide (Grade Level)
Help all teachers across a grade level with making copies, filing, preparing materials, etc.once a week during the time and day of your choice (school days and hours only) for a minimum of two hours. This is a weekly commitment for September through May.
Landscaping Team Member
Gather with a group of individuals who enjoy trimming, planting, watering, and “digging in the dirt!” Team members meet at the school as seasonal needs arise.
