Advent is a time when Christians prepare to celebrate the coming of Christ as the baby born in Bethlehem at the first Christmas. In Isaiah 9:6, there are four descriptions of Jesus: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. Each of these descriptions has an adjective and a noun. Take time with your kids to look up the definitions of each word. For instance, “wonderful” means: great, awesome, fantastic, and “counselor” means: someone who give advice, helps, or assists.
