Christmas Parties Students at both campuses all had Christmas parties the first week of December. These events were well-attended and not only were a celebration of the season but a reminder of the importance of community. High School Mission Trip High school and leaders traveled to Houston with Praying Pelican Missions to lead a VBS at a small church as well as serve in other ministries in the Houston area. Students took the lead in making VBS happen for the children involved. Middle School Mission Trip This year the Middle School ministry stayed in the Ivywood houses and spent time helping our local mission partners like the Children’s Hunger Fund. It was a great reminder that missions isn’t something you have to leave to go do, but something that’s right here in our city! Summer Events We had a summer of picnics, video game parties, trampoline parks, and movie nights. For the first time since 2019, middle school and high school have had separate events for the summer. Attendance has been very good at both groups’ events. Serving in VBS proved to be invaluable for the students participating in the High School Mission trip.
