Discipleship Groups – These groups provide a place where small groups of men build camaraderie, connection, and commitment. These intergenerational groups focus on the foundations of the faith through shared experience as they learn to reproduce discipleship. Bible Study – Each semester, we offer in-depth studies designed to challenge men in their knowledge, application, and obedience to God’s word. These textual, topical, and theological studies seek to provide a sound spiritual foundation for men. We have journeyed through the books of Colossians & 1 John. In the fall of 2022, we will dig into 1 Samuel in a study entitled, “Becoming A Man After God’s Heart.” Purity Ministry - Purity ministry helps men break out of the entanglement of sexual sin through honesty and voluntary accountability. Our Sexual Integrity 101 groups consist of 5-7 men focusing on the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of sexual sin and wholeness. Knowing healing can take time, we want men to develop a spiritual growth plan that results in a lifestyle of purity. Peru Mission Trip – The Peru mission trip supports and gives helping hands to Carlos and Meredith Block in the jungles of Peru by engaging in construction and ministry within the communities of the Yanesha peoples. This year we will send a team of nine, seven men and two women, who will continue the work building a discipleship center/school and recreation field. Men’s Events - The 2022 Men’s Summit retreat challenged 83 men to “Unify” as we learn to live with Christian unity in a divided world. Our Father/Son campout showed 80 fathers and sons how a father shapes his son’s identity. Our Father/Daughter date night gave 105 dads and daughters an opportunity to show their daughters they are “beloved.” All of these events create time to slow down, spend time together, and learn more about discipleship in the context of family. Leadership Development - Leadership development engages emerging leaders in an interactive process that shapes their character, leadership skills, and calling. Our leadership cohort engages emerging leaders and pairs them with skilled mentors as they walk together through the topics of “Leading Yourself, Leading a Few, Leading Teams, and Leading Ministries.” In addition, leadership development engages current leaders and staff in character, leadership skills, and calling while identifying areas of growth and helping to create a personal plan around them. MEN'S MINISTRIES Our men’s discipleship groups, bible studies, events, and purity groups are committed to one thing: making disciples who make disciples in their families, workplace, and world.
