On Mission

This Summer Wayside is being intentional as we focus on what it means to be on mission with God, our family, our workplaces, and our communities! Join us for some or all of the events below! More details about time and location can be found on the registration links.

• Saturday, May 13 |  Prayer Walking

  • This event has been postponed due to weather concerns.
  • Why prayer walk? Prayer walking gives each of us the opportunity to join the Lord where He is already at work in our neighborhoods, city, and country. As we observe the world around us, we can learn how to love our neighbors and better meet their physical and spiritual needs. Join us as we prayer walk in the neighborhoods around the 410 Campus.

• Saturday, June 24 | Children’s Hunger Fund

  • Wayside loves partnering with CHF to assemble FoodPaks that are distributed across San Antonio and other countries around the world to children and families in need! This is a great event to bring the whole family to and talk about the importance of being missional together.

• Saturday, July 8 | Workplace Discipleship

  • Registration coming soon.
  • Come and learn from our friends at BLE (Biblical Leadership for Excellence) about how to engage people at your workplace in gospel conversations. Where better to start living missionaly than where we spend 8 hours of our day?

• Saturday, August 12 | Evangelism Training

  • Registration coming soon.
  • Join us downtown for a morning of evangelism training where we learn simple ways of sharing the gospel – and then go out and use what we’ve learned! Downtown San Antonio is a fun and easy place to strike up a conversation with those who might be interested in the hope we find in Jesus.
