Will Davis, Stone Oak Campus Pastor

Will loves helping others discover, develop, and deploy their God-given gifts. He also enjoys making guests of Wayside feel at home and inviting God’s people to become a part of the body of believers. Will was born and raised in San Antonio. He attended Churchill High School and Texas State University in San Marcos. It was during his freshman year in college when Will placed his faith in Jesus Christ. He spent his summers in college working at Camp Balcones Springs, a Christian sports camp in Marble Falls. It was there that Will met his wife, Cara, and felt the call to full-time ministry. After working as an Assistant Director at the camp, Will began attending Dallas Theological Seminary in 1999. Will and Cara were married in 2000. After graduating from DTS in 2004, Will served as a pastor at a church in Grand Prairie for eight years. Cara was raised on a farm in Clifton, Texas and attended Texas A&M. Will and Cara have been blessed with five children: Jack, Josie, Kate, Sam, and Mary Grace. They both love to read, drink coffee, eat some good Tex-Mex, and shoot baskets (not necessarily in that order). They also love watching their favorite sports teams together: Texas A&M football, the Spurs, and the Texas Rangers.
