Helping Hands: ECHO Weekend

ECHO weekend means in-town discipleship retreat for student ministry and this year our theme is “Godspeak”.  Students will be divided by grade and sex into various homes around San Antonio and there are various you can help us out throughout the weekend.

Adult helping hands make this event happen.

ECHO weekend: Godspeak

November 17 – 19, 2017 | Various homes around San Antonio | Times vary depending on your helping hands role

Host Homes:  Have students stay in your home with their adult leaders.  All you provide is one large room or open area and we do the rest – literally!  Students will be shuttled to your home by our approved ministry drivers and meals provided by our approved meal providers.  Your house, your rules.

Drivers:  Drive students to/from their outings during the weekend.  Drivers must be 25 & older. Your car, your rules.  We provide you a detailed schedule with how many students you will be shuttling, where to be and by what time.  Drivers are asked to be available to drive Friday evening, November 17 through Sunday morning, November 19.

Meal Providers:  Do you cook?  Are you an expert at ordering out? Either way, we’ll take it! We give you the number of how many students you will be providing a meal for and where it will need to be delivered to.

Volunteers will be emailed detailed information regarding schedule, names & phone numbers of leaders for Echo Weekend.  All adult volunteers (18 & over) are required to have a current background check on file with Wayside Chapel.  Don’t have one? We provide it.
