Career Connections: Connecting men and women at Wayside who are seeking employment with God’s provision, power and perspective
With the global economy in turmoil, rising unemployment, home foreclosures, bank failures, and staggering losses in the stock market, how does God call us to respond as a church? What can we do to come alongside those in our body who have employment related needs? We believe that these economic difficulties have presented us with an opportunity to care for one another.
We want to connect people with God’s:
· Provision - by setting up an internet job board on our website that connects Waysiders seeking employment with job leads submitted by people within our body.
· Power - through leaders of the church praying with specific job seekers on a regular basis.
· Perspective - by providing ongoing encouragement for job seekers from God’s Word though wise counselors.
And we need your help! We will be posting job openings on a password-protected page that will be viewed only by Wayside job seekers. If you are aware of a job lead to post on this board, please contact Pastor Don Yates.
