Agape Ministry

 Agape - help meet short term tangible needs of the body at Wayside.
 Amen - basic home repair & oil changes for single Moms & widows.
 Agape food - help provide food for the food pantry or cook prepared meals.


Children's Ministry

 Nursery - watch over our little ones during one service every four months, or more often if you choose.
 Preschool - serve as a shepherd, an assistant, or a substitute teacher in our preschool Sunday School classes.
 Elementary - serve as a teacher, assistant, substitute or greeter in our elementary Sunday School classes.


Communications/Library Ministry

 Photographer - take photos at Wayside events for the website & newsletter.
 Proofreader - surf the Wayside website to check for errors.
 Library volunteer - your computer skills are needed.


Connect/Hospitality Ministry

 Greeter - welcome people with a smile and a handshake as they enter the church.
 Welcome Center - chat with guests after the service to get to know them and welcome them to Wayside.
 Usher - serve the congregation during the worship services & special events.
 Cafe' volunteer - help in the HeBrews Coffee Cafe' on Sundays.


Men's Ministry

 Men's Summit Retreat - help with sign up, set up, clean up, and more.
 Golf Team - help set up & clean up for the golf tournament.
 Father Son Fishing Trip - help with set up, food, and packing.


Missions & Outreach Ministry

 GoGatherings - volunteer to help at periodic GoGatherings with hospitality, food service, decoration and more.
 Power Point Development - use your computer skills to help create power point presentations to show on the hall monitors.
 Urban Renewal Ministries - serve with your whole family at a Bible club any Saturday afternoon at the San Juan Homes.


Senior Adults Ministry

 Nursing/retirement homes - help conduct services to minister to the residents through music & the Word.
 Seniors Serving Seniors - seniors are invited to help with planning monthly luncheons, game nights, and other special events.
 Visitation - visit and minister to shut-ins and those who are ill.


Student Ministry

 Security - provide a safe environment for students by patrolling the hallways during Wednesday night gatherings.
 Hospitality - provide a friendly environment by welcoming students and guests or providing snacks on Wednesday nights.
 Chaperone - provide accountability & safety for students at special events.


Women's Ministry

 Fall Women's Event - help with decor, greeting, registration, food, music, etc.
 MOPS - take care of the Moppets the second Thursday each month.
 First Impressions - help with planting & maintaining the campus landscaping.


Worship Ministry

 Celebration Choir - open to all in high school or older who love to sing praises to the Lord.
 Office - help in the office with filing, copying, phone calls, and more.
 Technical - open to all in high school or older who can help in the tech department with projection, lighting, cameras and more.
 Pewmeister - secret servants who come during the week on a rotating basis to straighten and restock sections of pews in the Sanctuary.


Young Adults Ministry

 Technical - help run sound or power point at The Call or Stillpointe on Sunday nights.
 Administrative - help with data entry during the week.
