Friday, September 28
~3:00 pm: Hotel check-in. Enjoy Texas hospitality and superior amenities when you arrive at Tapatio Springs.
~5:00 pm: Retreat information & check-in at the Conference Center
~6:00 pm: Dinner at Conference Center
~7:00 pm: Evening Session "Celebrate! He Gives Hope For the Journey"
After the Evening Session, please join us for an Ice Cream Sundae Buffet.

Saturday, September 29
~7:00 am: Breakfast
~9:00 am: Morning Session "Celebrate! He Turns Fear Into Faith"
~11:00 am: Lunch & free time
~l:00 pm: "Concert of Praise" by the Beth Moore "Living Proof Praise Team" in Conference Center
~2.00 pm: Afternoon Session "Celebrate! A New Kind of Normal"
~4:00 pm: Closing. A love offering will be taken at the conclusion of this session.

Directions from San Antonio:

Take IH-10 West to the John’s road Exit to Mile marker # 539 (about 16 miles from Loop 1604). Take a left at the stop sign and continue west over IH-10. Travel approximately 4 miles. From John’s Road, merge right into Wild Turkey Blvd. Take an immediate left on Blue Heron Blvd. (Pass The Garden’s Entrance on right-hand side.) Follow the signs to the clubhouse and hotel lobby. Enjoy your stay!

Retreat News:  The response has been amazing and we are full!  However, last minute emergencies do happen, so if you are registered and find that you are unable to attend the retreat and cannot find your own replacement, please call Ruth Amstutz at  (210) 843-9780 or (210) 344-1203 ext. 106. 

For women who still wish to attend but did not get registered in time, call Ruth at the above numbers and ask to be put on the waiting list.  We don’t want one seat to go unfilled!

Tapatio Springs Resort and Conference Center, nestled in the picturesque Texas Hill Country, will be the perfect environment for spiritual refreshment and rejuvenation this September as our conference speaker, Carol Kent brings, “He is our Hope! Celebrate!”

 

Known for being dynamic, humorous, encouraging, and biblical, Carol is a former radio show co-host and has been a guest on Focus on the Family, Dateline NBC, CNN Live, and Family Life Today.  She has recently founded the nonprofit organization, Speak Up for Hope, which benefits the families of incarcerated individuals, and she serves on the advisory board of MOPS International.  Carol has written many books, including When I Lay my Isaac Down, and her newest book, A New Kind of Normal.  Several copies of both books are available to be checked out in the Wayside Library.
