Preschool (age 2 as of September 1 through Kindergarten)       Find out about being a Preschool Shepherd

Classes are available on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am and 11:00 am.  Childcare is available at 8:00 am on Sunday mornings. The preschoolers are taught by trained, loving volunteers who have a heart for children and the Lord. 

The two year olds are in a self contained classroom where they are taught Bible truths appropriate for their age. The focus is to develop a positive, receptive attitude toward God, the Bible and church through stories, games, crafts and music.

/files/Children's Ministry/Dis Rotation graphic.jpgThe children ages 3-Kinder will experience Sunday school in fun and meaningful ways using a rotation model. Each age group will be assigned a “shepherd” who will be with them throughout the morning as they rotate to a session for the Bible and another session for Prayer and Praise. The children will have the benefit of experiencing a variety of activities presented by people who are experts in specific areas.

Group’s hands-on Bible Curriculum will continue to be used in the Discovery Zone.

·         The Bible rotation will be led by an experienced, gifted Bible teacher. Each week the children will hear a different Bible story, review a monthly Bible verse and “Get to Know God” by focusing on one of His character qualities.

·         In the Prayer and Praise rotation, children will be led by a passionate leader in a special time of worshipping God through prayer, offering and music. 

·         Shepherds will develop relationships with the children as they introduce, reinforce and enhance the Bible focus each Sunday through various, creative activities.

 

In the Discovery Zone, the aim is to meet kids where they are
and help them discovery an intimate relationship with God.
