The Young Adult Ministry of Wayside Chapel
VISION:
Ephesians 4:1-6
That every member would "walk worthy of the calling with which they were called." The pattern is contained within the passage itself, "with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
PURPOSE:
The Call exists for the express purpose of serving God and the members of the body of Christ by reproducing Christ followers through discipleship and equipping young adults to know God more deeply by being rooted in His Word, helping them to make Him known to successive generations and by reaching out to the world in which they find themselves.
VALUES:
We hold Proverbs 27:17 as our most valuable principle. "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." We value life on life ministry. It is our hope that as those involved in this fellowship move into their world, they do so understanding the value of relationship with Christ and others.
MEETING TIMES:
Sunday Mornings: 9:15 am at 115 Ivywood
Sunday Evenings: The Call Evening Worship - 6:00 pm in Fellowship Hall
Still Point: The 2nd Sunday of each month we host this gathering of 20 & 30-somethings in San Antonio. Meet at 6:00 pm in Fellowship Hall
